Bucknell and Holy Cross were tied for the third spot at 123 points, with the Bison receiving two first place votes. They are followed by Lehigh (88), Navy (85), Lafayette (70), Colgate (47), Boston University (39) and Loyola Maryland (34). Army connected on only seven field goals in the first half of a 53-50 loss to rival Navy. Senior forward Olivia Schretzman finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Juniors Kelsey Minato and Aimee Oertner added 15 points apiece as the trio account for 44 of the Black Knights points ... Minato reached double figures for the 63rd consecutive game and moved to 1,432 for her career to surpass Melody Smith (`84; 1,422 points) and Erin Anthony (`11; 1,429 points) for fourth on the program's career scoring list
BOSTON UNIVERSITY The Terriers shot nearly 52-percent from the field in the first half but could not maintain a five-point halftime advantage in a 67-60 road loss to Lafayette. Freshman guard Corrine Williams scored a career-high 10 points for Boston University who were led in scoring against the Leopards with 16 points apiece from senior forward Mollie McKendrick and sophomore guard Sarah Hope. Boston University hung with the Leopards on the boards as all seven players who saw the court grabbed at least four rebounds.
BUCKNELL The Bison came into the weekend connecting on nearly 30-percent of their three-point field goal attempts, but made only 3-of-18 in a 53-52 loss Saturday to Holy Cross at Sojka Pavilion. A 46-40 advantage by Bucknell in rebounding was not enough to offset the poor shooting afternoon. Senior forward Audrey Dotson recorded the 15th double-double of her career with 16 points and 11 rebounds and junior guard Sheaira Jones was the only other Bucknell player to reach double figures with 10 points. Sophomore forward Claire DeBoer tallied snared 10 rebounds for the Bison ... Bucknell also stymied themselves with 21 turnovers and an uncharacteristically poor performance at the free throw line. The Bison came into the game as the 28th best free throw shooting team in the country at 74.7 percent, but made only 9-of-14 including several misses on the front end of one-and-ones.
COLGATE The Raiders hung with first place American for much of the game before falling 66-58 on Saturday at Cotterell Court. Junior forward Josie Stockill matched a career-high with 18 points and Randyll Butler notched her third career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds ... Stockill finished 10-of-10 at the line, posting career highs for both made and attempted free throws. The New Zealand native is up to 80.3 percent for the season on 61-of-76 ... Colgate turned the ball over only 10 times against American, which is the fewest since they gave up only eight in a win over Binghamton.
HOLY CROSS The Crusaders jumped out to an 11-2 at Bucknell and held on for a 53-52 victory in a game that featured ten lead changes. Junior forward Raquel Scott recorded her eighth double-double of the season with team-highs of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman guard Infiniti Thomas-Waheed posted 15 points, which was one of her career-high of 16 set earlier this season against Yale ... The Crusaders drained all nine of their free throw attempts in the win over Bucknell with Scott going 5-for-5 and Thomas-Waheed 4-for-4 ... Led by the 15 from Thomas-Waheed, the Holy Cross bench outscored their Bison counterparts 18-6. Holy Cross is in the midst of a stretch where they play four of five games on the road, continuing that stretch on Wednesday at Army.
LAFAYETTE The Leopards turned up the defensive intensity in the second half of a 67-60 win over Boston University on Saturday at Kirby Sports Center. After allowing the Terriers to build a five-point halftime advantage on 51.6 percent shooting from the field, Lafayette limited the visitors to just 9-for-31 (29 percent) over the final 20 minutes. Senior forward Emily Homan led all scorers with 23 points and also collected eight rebounds. Junior guard Jamie O'Hare netted 14 points and sophomore forward Ashley Lutz grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds ... The win over Boston University was only the third in 12 meetings. Lafayette does hold a 2-1 advantage in the series since the Terriers joined the Patriot League prior to the 2013-14 season ... The Leopards play three of their next four games on the road, beginning with an 11:30 a.m. matinee Wednesday at Loyola.
LEHIGH The Mountain Hawks scored a season-low 52 points in suffering their first Patriot League loss of the season, 64-52 at Loyola Maryland. Lehigh, which entered the contest 31st nationally at 76 points per game and seventh in the nation with a 47.8 field goal percentage, will see both figures slip after shooting a season-low 32.3 percent (20-for-62) from the field including just 1-for-14 from three-point range. Senior Katie O'Reilly was one of the few Mountain Hawks players on the mark, connecting on 7-of-12 field goals and finishing with a career-high 21 points. Junior forward Kerry Kinek recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds and sophomore forward Lexi Martins followed with nine points and 13 boards. Colleen Marshall supported the effort with 11 points and five assists and Lauren Daugherty added eight points and 10 rebounds ... Freshman guard Taylor Dunham led the Mids in scoring with 12 points and Lids Team Sports Patriot League Rookie of the Week
Marina Muenster snared 10 caroms in only 15 minutes of action ... Eight of the 10 Navy players who saw action were playing in their first Army-Navy game ... Muenster became the third Mids player to earn Rookie of the Week honors this season, joining classmates Dunham and Sarah Reilly.
